about

So I bought my first bass guitar in December 08, and a simple pentatonic minor lick turned into this geek rap anthem. I apologize ahead of time if you don't understand the lyrics. Here's the gist: The rapper is a huge nerd and is way too cocky about his mediocre programming skills.

lyrics

I write the apps that make the whole world sing
If you don't know me then you don't a thing
Java, C, or C++
Give me a keyboard and I'm dangerous

I write for business, I write for fun
I can write for peace and I can write a gun
I write for money and I write for free
I can write Bill Gates into poverty

Uh!

I write the apps that make the whole word sing
I can write code faster than your baseball swing
I don't use stones, I don't use sticks
I'll delete your body from the Mature-ix

"Why is this programmer rapping to me"
"Instead of programming new technology?"
I can multitask yo; don't you worry
I wrote this song in an I.D.E.

Uh!

I write the appz that make the whole world sing
I can write an app to help with anything
If you've got a problem, don't dismay
I crunch more numbers than a CPA!

Help me file my taxes!
I'll write an app.
I need to check the weather!
I'll write an app.
I need to balance my checkbook!
I'll write an app.
I killed someone!
...whoa.
